Take a plunge into clear coke coloured water, while white cliffs and thick forest tower above you. Kloofing or Canyoning on the Garden Route near Knysna is a hectic, adrenalin filled adventure suitable for the fit, adventurous & those who love to spend time in the water.

The deep gorges near Knysna and Plettenberg Bay are the perfect spot for this adventure. A short sunny hike above the forest canopy before a sharp descent into the Gorge then you’ll be wading through fresh mountain pools, clambering over massive boulders, splashing through the river and hiking in the forest.

We add in an abseil, some great cliff jumps to keep the pace hectic, so when we stop for an adventurers picnic, you’ll feel you’ve earned it.

IMPORTANT: You have to be able to swim to participate in this adventure. This is a full day of adventure, it's advisable to be fit, confident with heights and have a great sense of adventure!

We use various gorges depending on the seasons and weather, so although the above description is the plan, be prepared for changes!

COKE COLOURED WATER: It’s normal, it’s clean and it’s drinkable, the mountain streams that wind through the forest get stained by tannins and humus on the forest floor which is why the rivers have the distinctive brown colour.
